The Regulatory Reporting analyst is responsible for the on-boarding & on-going operations support to the Banking clients that have subscribed to the KPMG Cloud based Regulatory Reporting solution in Singapore.

Job Description

  • Liaise with client on the data requirements, assist to arrange and support workshops to identify data requirements and how they map to the specific regulatory reporting solution data model.
  • Use the ETL tool to map and transform client data such as to satisfy the project scope and specification within the timetable set by and agreed with the Project Manager.
  • Conduct testing on regulatory reports based on regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare proper project documentations including requirements analysis, design, configuration, user guide, manuals.
  • Report to the Project Manager any delays or expected delays to a project, whether due to internal or customer delays, and in particular to highlight any potential scheduling conflicts that could result in such a delay.
  • Report to the Project Manager any changes of project scope whether initiated by the client, identified by the consultant or caused by regulatory change over the course of the project.
  • Maintain good relations with the client through regular written and verbal communication.
  • Prepare and ensure regular checkpoints and contact reports (as appropriate) are sent to clients.
  • Assist in performing training of clients using regulatory reporting software as directed and lead by the Project Manager.
  • Support investigation and resolution of production incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as and when required in the project.

A successful candidate should possess the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Possess a degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Business, Finance, IT or other relevant field of studies
  • Preferably experience working in the banking sector or international public accounting firm in the regulatory functions
  • 3-5 years’ of relevant experience would be preferred
  • Strong interest in and sound understanding of financial markets and products
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to communicate with and present yourself to stakeholders of all levels
  • Independent, resourceful, highly analytical and investigative
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Access / PowerPoint.
