Your Role In The Village:

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with client or KPMG internal business units to identify problems, or growth opportunities. Using these insights, you will put on your thinking cap to create/enhance new products or services, or re-design current processes

A Day In The Life:

  • Identify unmet customer’s needs and market opportunities
  • Perform product market and competitive landscape analysis
  • Understand product buyers through direct engagement, market research, customer immersion and surveys 
  • Apply data-driven approach to decide on product growth direction 
  • Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
  • Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
  • Lead the planning of product release and set expectation for delivery of new   functionalities
  • Provide  direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Assess value, and prioritize user stories, epics and themes to ensure alignment  with product strategy
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting team’ success in completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products
  • Perform product training for Marketing, Sales and PR teams



The Ideal Villager:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management with a technical background
  • Preferably degree in computer science or engineering
  • Familiarity with software development process
  • Understanding and experience in cloud services technologies is a plus
  • Software architecture background is a plus
  • Experience with multi-platform products
  • Strong interest in driving change and digital innovation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly driven, ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Creative approach towards problem solving
  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of agile methodology & design thinking process
  • Experience in product design and rapid prototyping
