Receivables and Working Capital Analyst, Advisory PIC

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Receivables and Working Capital Analyst to join our Advisory business. The successful candidate will be responsible to liaise with clients and senior internal stakeholders to manage the WIP, debt and collections.

The role includes:

Receivables Responsibilities

  • Report, review and monitor outstanding receivables with engagement teams.
  • Using the 80/20 rule, identify the high-value overdue Invoices by Engagement & Partner.
  • Liaise with engagement teams and take the lead to troubleshoot the top $ receivables by contacting clients directly to inquire on reasons for overdue Receivables.
  • Escalate to engagement teams on documentation and other actions requested by clients
  • Log the key points from the discussions with client and engagement teams.
  • Follow up with clients on whether issues are resolved from their perspective and when KPMG can expect payment.
  • Update status to management on regular basis and diligently follow up through an action plan

Work-in progress (WIP) responsibilities

  • Report, review and monitor engagement work-in-progress (WIP).
  • Using the 80/20 rule, identify the high-dollar value WIP by Engagement & Partner.
  • Where outstanding Receivables and WIP are related to the same engagement ID, follow up with engagement teams on status of both Receivables and future billings.
  • Escalate to engagement teams of any issues raised by clients resulting in delayed Receivables payment which could affect collections of future billings.
  • Follow up with clients and engagement teams on a regular basis until issues identified by the client are resolved and payment is received.
  • Escalate to management on high-dollar value WIP where billings are overdue even though there is no current Receivables issue.
  • Assist management in following up with the engagement manager to expedite billing.

The candidate should possess:

  • Minimum Diploma holder or equivalent
  • At least 1 year relevant experience in Accounts Receivables / Debts Collection would be preferred
  • Assertive and convincing whilst maintaining ongoing relationships with clients & engagement teams
  • Ability to think on your feet to create positive outcomes
  • Numerical skills and good proficiency in Excel
  • Proactive team player who is meticulous and self-motivated
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
