The Human Resources team contributes to making KPMG a great place to work by implementing best-practice programmes to attract, recruit, develop, groom and retain the best and brightest talent. The team’s responsibilities include recruitment, manpower planning, performance and talent management, global mobility, compensation and benefits, staff welfare and development and staff communications.


We are looking for a Senior Executive to join our HR Operations team to handle activities related to our employees’ career cycle and to deliver quality services to internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

HR Service Delivery
• Drive excellent employee experience over the entire employee life cycle.
• Ensure timely delivery of a broad spectrum of HR activities such as employee confirmation, contract renewal, re-employment, work pass administration, employment certification letters, conduct background checks etc.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR queries through the HR hotline and helpdesk mailbox.
• Provide accurate and timely information, advice and interpretation of the firm’s policies and processes.
• Proactively review and identify areas of improvement within HR operations, policies and existing processes, and recommend improvements to achieve greater efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements and employee policies

Payroll and Benefits Administration
• Prepare new hires listing for payroll purpose.
• Prepare interns and temp staff listing, including their overtime records for payroll.
• Manage medical insurance enrolment, termination and changes to entitlement.
• Verify professional membership claims.
• Process local government claims such as reservist claims, maternity leave claims, childcare leave claims, etc.
• Support application, amendment and cancellation of specific leave types on behalf of staff.
• Support yearly bonus and increment process.

 

Job Requirements
• At least a diploma with 5 years of HR operations experience. Those with lesser years of experience may be considered for a HR Executive role.
• Good knowledge of HR operational processes and understanding of local labour laws and legislation.
• Working knowledge in SAP HCM.
• An agile mindset to adapt to organization changes and stakeholders’ needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous and able to work independently and be proactive.
• Strong analytical skills and conceptual abilities.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• A collaborative and client-centric mindset, good work ethics and ability to partner and interact confidently with employees and senior stakeholders.
