The Senior Associate/Assistant Manager role is within the Tax function based in Singapore. We partner with our member firms across the world to deliver key global compliance management services for our clients.

The role involves:
• Act as a first point of contact, to build and maintain effective relationship with internal stakeholders and external clients, partners, colleagues and other offices ensuring that all client issues are addressed and resolved to a satisfactory conclusion and in a timely manner.
• Monitor, review, and assess accounting, tax compliance, and risk control policies, procedures, and conducts in accordance with latest laws and regulations applicable to the member firms.
• Manage PMO governance processes, metrics, and measurements aimed at creating a consistent operating model and driving efficiency and quality across the tax function
• Work with various member firms to identify, refine, and prioritize the direct and indirect tax filing tasks and track the key client deliverables.
• Create Senior management reporting, briefing decks, and other ad hoc reporting on status, issues, and risk

The ideal candidate should possess:
• University degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Law.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the areas of Tax and/or Compliance.
• At least 1 year of it in advisory, project management, and governance experience required
• Knowledge and expertise in tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills
• Strong research, written, and verbal communication skills
