ASPAC Regional Team

As part of the regional team you will play an integral role in helping firms meet our collective Trust and Growth ambition, promoting consistency and collaboration, so that KPMG Inspires Confidence and Empowers Change for our clients and talent. Working together, the regional team cultivates a collaborative regional mindset among our Member Firms to unlock mutual benefit, to connect them to execute & win together, and enable incremental revenue through cross-border & scalable opportunities.

 

This role presents an exciting opportunity to build relationships with senior leaders across member firms throughout the Asia Pacific region.

The role

The ASPAC Clients and Markets Strategy has been set to drive growth, scale, and replication across our priority sectors and accounts as well as increase alignment between global, regional, and member firms in response to market drivers. This is underpinned by greater accountability and transparency of in-country prioritization of regional priority sectors and accounts, capability and coverage investment, and a consistent approach to performance management.

 

The ASPAC AI Go To Market Lead is a critical new role with the ASPAC Clients and Markets team that has been defined to drive change in how AI services are marketed and sold. This includes coordinating brand-building activities that align with the Global AI narrative and ensuring consistent messaging across markets. This role ensures the commercial success of AI-related initiatives and supports sectors and functions in demonstrating AI capabilities for long term success.  

Deliverables and accountabilities

Strategic Focus and Responsibilities

 

The role is embedded in a broader strategic framework that includes:

  • Community Activation: Engaging member firms through forums and quarterly 1:1s to align and accelerate AI GTM priorities.
  • Brand Amplification: Leveraging global campaigns like “You Can with AI” and hero thought leadership initiatives
  • Tool Deployment: Supporting rollout of tools like Gen AI Rapid Value Assessment, aIQ CaseCraft, and Proposal Builder and assessment of future tools to ensure applicability for the ASPAC region and streamline development effort.
  • Client Engagement: Identifying priority accounts for AI pilots and tracking outcomes closely with Account Lead Partners and Business Development Leads
  • Learning & Enablement: Promoting immersion sessions and training to build AI fluency across the network 

 

The main outcomes driven by the role will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the AI go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the ASPAC region, ensuring alignment with global AI initiatives and local market needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Country AI Leads, Regional Sector Leaders, Regional Functional Leaders and Global Sales and Markets teams to support and embed AI GTM strategies locally.
  • Campaign Management: Support sectors and functions in GTM activities that demonstrate our AI capabilities. Monitor and report key campaign metrics.
  • Thought Leadership: Coordinate thought leadership and brand-building activities aligned to the Global AI narrative. Lead localization and deployment of globally delivered assets.
  • Client Engagement: Drive campaigns to promote client-facing solutions that incorporate AI capabilities from across the firm. Engage with clients to understand their AI needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Performance Management: Track and report the value delivered across the region, ensuring accountability and transparency.

Skills and experience

  • AI Expertise: Strong understanding of AI technologies their application in business contexts and future trends.
  • GTM Experience: Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix organization, working collaboratively and influencing partners and staff across the ASPAC region.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, combined with resilience, cultural awareness, and diplomacy to achieve successful stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in sales enablement, business development, and/or digital transformation in a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team management, talent nurturing, performance management, and driving results.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies for digital transformation solutions.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to engage with senior leaders confidently.
