ASPAC Audit Pursuits Manager

ASPAC Regional Team
As part of the regional team, you will play an integral role in helping firms meet our collective Trust and Growth ambition, promoting consistency and collaboration, so that KPMG Inspires Confidence and Empowers Change for our clients and talent. This role presents an exciting opportunity to build relationships with senior leaders across member firms throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Key responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the ASPAC Audit Priority and Audit Must Win Accounts program, supporting lead partners and teams with sales enablement and pursuit coaching.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work with cross-border client service teams, pursuit support teams, clients and markets, and Global Audit throughout the pursuit cycle.
- Pursuit Strategy and Planning: Define the pursuit strategy and plan, develop communication tactics and strategies, generate creative ideas, create the value proposition, and coach teams to succeed.
- Relationship Building: Develop trusted relationships with lead audit partners, providing coaching, challenge, and counsel as they navigate interactions throughout the pursuit process.
- Communication and Differentiation: Write and edit key elements of communications (e.g., value propositions, presentations, and executive summaries) to differentiate KPMG from competitors.
- Execution of Pursuit Process: Drive the execution of the pursuit process, developing winning communication strategies (pursuit documents, presentations, and other sales and marketing communications) to win new clients, maintain existing business, and increase firm revenues
- Deal Triage and Pursuit Planning: Define a clear bid strategy, bid plan, and win themes.
- Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Work with various teams within the KPMG ecosystem, including the Capabilities Hub.
- Conducting Win/Loss Analysis: Identify areas of improvement.
Skills and Experience
- More than 8 years of experience, preferably in a Big 4 professional services firm or a large corporate
- Experience managing teams and multiple stakeholders in either a client facing role (e.g. Audit, Advisory or Tax), or in business services
- Experience with managing large deal tenders
- Experience in managing large cross-border deals and multiple project timelines simultaneously
- This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, including PowerPoint presentation skills, being able to write and edit guidance materials for member firms, and to influence internal clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of existing and emerging software from leading providers such as Microsoft, ServiceNow, and SAP, combined with an eagerness to learn new technologies
- Ability to leverage technology and new ideas to grow the business
- Understand & appreciate the vibrant culture in the ASPAC region. This role requires interactions with KPMG professionals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Cultural awareness is essential to the success of each regional role in Asia Pacific.
