ASPAC Regional Team
As part of the regional team you will play an integral role in helping firms meet our collective Trust and Growth ambition, promoting consistency and collaboration, so that KPMG Inspires Confidence and Empowers Change for our clients and talent. This role presents an exciting opportunity to build relationships with senior leaders across member firms throughout the Asia Pacific region.
The role
In your role as a manager, you will have the opportunity to work on various client and internal tax technology projects, from assisting with internal production, automation and data analytics solutions, to implementing third-party tax applications for MNCs. You will take ownership of assigned tasks and support delivery of them until completion, including documenting requirements, design, configuration, testing, and project management. You will act as a regional resource for the member firms within the ASPAC region and assist with their technology related queries and requirements.
Skills Required
- Knowledge or experience in Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
- Knowledge or experience in Data Science and Data Analytics (e.g. Python)
- Development using Microsoft stack
- Knowledge or experience in the design and development of databases (specifically SQL Server)
- Experience with developing ETL solutions using SSIS or other tools
- Data analytics and visualisation tools such as PowerBI
- Knowledge in Microsoft Power suite (Power App, Power Automate, Query, Macros and VBA, Scripting)
- A desire to use new technologies to help change the way in which our clients operate their processes and manage their data
- A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work
Application of the above skills in a tax environment is preferred but not essential.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor’s degree (for example in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Accounting, Tax Technology or a related discipline)
- The ability to work flexibly, managing multiple and diverse projects at the same time, sometimes with minimal guidance
- A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
- Excellent communication and business writing skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with exceptional client-serving consulting skills
- Be open to occasional travel around Asia Pacific regions
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
- A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work
