Job Description
The Alliance Associate Director at KPMG Singapore is responsible for developing and enhancing strategic partnerships in Singapore that are crucial to the company's growth and pipeline. This position requires managing complex business relationships, executing strategic initiatives, and ensuring mutual benefit between alliance partners and the organization. The goal is to build strong and successful alliances that contribute significantly to net new leads for KPMG Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the KPMG Singapore office, you will be leading alliance GTM strategy with key alliance partners (e.g. Microsoft, SAP, Oracle) and work with cross-functional teams within KPMG to drive business development alongside alliance partners. This role is focused on top of the funnel activities and activating GTM strategy aligned to sector and marketing campaigns.
1. Alliance Strategy Execution
• Manage and develop the alliance GTM strategy within sector and marketing campaigns with key alliance partners
• Identify and craft the joint value propositions and synergies with alliance partners by sectors
• Plan and own enablement sessions for internal stakeholders with alliance partners based on the joint value propositions and alliance GTM strategy
• Organize and lead account planning sessions between internal stakeholders and alliance partners to map the joint synergies to accounts
• Track and follow up on account plans and initiatives with internal stakeholders and alliance partners
2. Relationship Management
• Serve as a liaison between the company and its alliance partners, ensuring clear communication channels and aligning alliance objectives
• Manage multiple stakeholders within KPMG, including, but not limited to Regional/Local Alliance Leaders, Sector Leaders, and Functional Leaders
• Own the relationship with alliance partners, including, but not limited to Partner Development Leaders, Sales Leaders, Technical Leaders, and Product Leaders
3. Innovation
• Identify opportunities to create additional value through alliance partners, including innovative joint solutions and co-marketing initiatives, aligned and guided by sector and marketing campaigns
Skills and Qualifications
1. Experience
o Proven experience as an Alliance Manager or similar role, ideally within the tech industry or advisory firm
o Demonstrated success in forming and driving alliance GTM and marketing campaigns
2. Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
o Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of influencing and driving cross-functional collaboration
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to articulate complex ideas succinctly
3. Cultural Awareness
o Understanding of diverse corporate cultures and practices, especially in the context of large, multinational partnerships
