By leveraging a global delivery model, KDN drives innovation, efficiency and consistency across complex, multi-country engagements.

Role summary:

This role reports into the Director of Advisory Function based in United States.

Within KDN Advisory, the Financial Crime, KYC and AML capability delivers scalable, repeatable solutions across customer due diligence, onboarding, screening, transaction monitoring, investigations and regulatory compliance, supporting global banking, fintech and regulated industry clients.

The KDN KYC/AML Solution Architect plays a critical role in designing and governing scalable, commercially viable solutions across managed services, regulatory transformation, platform implementations and multi-country engagements. This role partners closely with Member Firms and global/regional leadership to drive solutioning, go-to-market initiatives and capability enablement.

Acting as the bridge between regulatory requirements, business needs and delivery models, the architect translates complex requirements into standardized solution architectures deployable through KDN’s global delivery network. The role works closely with deal teams, compliance stakeholders, technology vendors and delivery centres to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations, client operating models and market competitiveness.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead KYC/AML solution architecture and design for KDN offerings, including managed services and transformation programmes
  • Provide deal support, pricing guidance, and commercial structuring for KYC/AML opportunities
  • Collaborate with delivery centres and technical teams to ensure effective solution implementation
  • Develop and maintain solution governance, standards, templates, and playbooks
  • Drive market scanning, innovation, and future-state roadmap development in close collaboration with Risk leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CAMS, CFE, CISSP, CISM or equivalent AML/Risk credentials are preferred
  • Extensive experience in KYC/AML solutioning, including architecting large, multi-country engagements, managed services, and regulatory transformation programmes
  • Deep domain expertise across KYC/AML processes (CDD, EDD, onboarding, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, investigations, SAR reporting) and strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., FATF, AMLD, BSA, FinCEN, FCA, EU regulations)
  • Proven experience working with risk and compliance leadership to shape client-ready offerings, with strong regulatory interpretation and cross-jurisdictional impact assessment capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with AML/KYC platforms (e.g., NICE Actimize, SAS AML, Fenergo, Quantexa, Pega, ACI, World-Check) and designing technology-enabled solutions (workflow automation, case management, rules engines, data pipelines, analytics) within cloud-native environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience in solution governance and delivery, including vendor assessments, platform selection, implementation oversight, defining standards, reference architectures, operating models, SLAs, KPIs, and governance frameworks
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, including pricing support, cost modelling, effort estimation, rate card design, deal approvals, and working within global delivery models (offshore/nearshore)
  • Ability to produce high-quality solution artifacts (e.g., architecture diagrams, process maps, RACI, KPIs) and operate effectively in highly regulated, time-sensitive, and client-critical environments
  • Continuous awareness of regulatory changes, supervisory priorities, and RegTech trends, with strong stakeholder communication skills and experience engaging senior executives (e.g., CROs, CIOs, COOs, Compliance Heads, regulators)
