Job Description

 

Within KPMG Singapore, the Information Technology Services (ITS) team is responsible for providing quality IT services and solutions internally to support the business and improve efficiency. You will be part of the Digital Enablement, a department responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high-quality IT services internally to transform KPMG business units. The team partners with multiple functional teams to provide inputs to scope definitions and provide guidance, expertise, and/or assistance to ensure programs and strategies are implemented and maintained effectively leveraging available in house or third-party technologies & services.

 

We are looking for an AI Engineer with expertise in prompt engineering to support AI-driven initiatives. This role involves analyzing AI model performance, refining prompt strategies, and contributing to the development of AI-driven solutions that align with business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and refine AI models, leveraging large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI technologies to enhance business outcomes.

Responsibilities

As an AI Engineer, your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

  • Assist in the development and integration of AI-powered applications and workflows to address business challenges.
  • Analyse AI model performance and optimize prompt strategies for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in evaluating, testing, and fine-tuning AI models for business applications.
  • Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI models into existing applications.
  • Drive the adoption of AI tools and technologies across teams, ensuring effective usage and integration into business processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders through ideation workshops, customer discussions, and user reviews to identify AI use cases and define high-level requirements.
  • Conduct market research on Generative AI, NLP, Copilot, and deep learning to stay updated on advancements and best practices.
  • Research and implement prompt engineering techniques to enhance AI-generated responses.

Experience and Skills⠀

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in AI implementation, with a strong focus on Generative AI, vector databases for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and software engineering with knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with Python, AI/ML frameworks, and AI toolkits like OpenAI API and LangChain.
  • Understanding of NLP, machine learning concepts, and AI model evaluation techniques.
  • Understanding of AI security best practices, ethical AI principles, and techniques for bias mitigation.
  • Experience integrating AI models into applications using APIs and cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure).
  • Hands-on experience in software development, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based AI deployment environments and databases such as MySQL, CosmosDB, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methods of project delivery and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in clear business terms.
  • Ability to translate high-level business requirements into scalable AI solutions and troubleshoot complex IT challenges.
