Job Description

The People, Performance and Culture team contributes to making KPMG a great place to work by implementing best-practice programmes to attract, recruit, develop, groom and retain the best and brightest talent. The team’s responsibilities include recruitment, manpower planning, performance and talent management, global mobility, compensation and benefits, staff welfare and development and staff communications.

We are looking for a dynamic Early Careers Assistant Manager for our Early Careers team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of campus talent acquisition and early careers programmes for the Audit & Central Services Functions, including graduate and internship hiring, enhancing our internship experience and driving engagement initiatives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and tertiary institutions to build strong early talent pipelines while ensuring a consistent and positive candidate and intern experience across all touchpoints.

The role involves:

  • Manage end-to-end campus recruitment activities for yourself and recruiters reporting to you, including sourcing, screening, assessment coordination, interviewing, offers, and onboarding for interns and graduates.
  • Deliver and continuously enhance the internship and early careers experience, including onboarding, engagement activities, and structured programmes such as rotations, mentorship, and buddy initiatives.
  • Lead planning, coordination and participation in campus outreach activities such as career fairs, talks, workshops, and office visits to support hiring and employer branding objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and HR partners, to align on hiring needs and programme outcomes.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with universities, career services, and student organisations to support long-term campus engagement and talent pipeline strategies.
  • Manage and track candidate pipelines and programme metrics, using data to support reporting and inform improvements to recruitment and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Employer Branding and Learning & Development to deliver integrated recruitment, branding, and development initiatives for early talent.
  • Lead initiatives improve talent processes, enhance candidate experience, and introduce new ideas aligned with evolving campus recruitment trends.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Degree holder with 5-7 years of experience in campus recruitment/ volume hiring, talent acquisition, events and/or Early Careers programmes. 
  • Demonstrated achievement in campus recruitment and early talent development. 
  • Outstanding team management skills, with experience coaching teammates to level-up professionally.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities concurrently. 
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior internal and external partners. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to confidentially utilise recruitment data to derive actionable insights. 
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience in TA technology (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc) and/or familiarity with Work-Study Programmes in the various tertiary institutions would be preferred
  • Experience working in professional services or auditing industries could be an advantage
