Job Description

 

Within KPMG Singapore, the Information Technology Services (ITS) team is responsible for providing quality IT services and solutions internally to support the business and improve efficiency. 

 

We invite highly motivated and customer oriented individuals to join our ITS team. As an IT Security Manager, you will be required to work closely with our ITS team and Business stakeholders to maintain and ensure a secure IT operating environment and compliance to Global IT security standards. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Support the National IT Security Officer to maintain the IT security policies and processes and ensure a secure IT operating environment for KPMG Singapore. 
  • Liaise with global and regional teams to ensure compliance to Global security policies, initiatives and requirements. 
  • Manage and support security incident response. 
  • Review and manage security controls for IT applications and services. 
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties on audit assessments and regulatory checks. 
  • Provide security review and advice for new solutions deployments. 
  • Review and assess security clauses in RFP/RFQ and address client security questionnaires. 
  • Manage and support internal audits within KPMG 
  • Assist with the delivery of code assessment services to customers interested in determining compliance to third-party licensing and security issues. 
  • Work on solutions that help developers write secure and compliant code without requiring them to become security and legal experts 
  • Research new security technologies, threats and vulnerabilities and implement necessary preventive measures. 
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders and management.

 

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

 

  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Communication Technology or other IT related qualifications. 
  • 5-6 years of relevant working experience in IT Security with good technical knowledge in infrastructure/ applications.
  • Experience in security governance, risk and compliance. 
  • Understanding of Cloud Security fundamentals, including cryptography and the shared responsibility model. 
  • Knowledge in cloud-native architecture, container orchestration and container technologies 
  • Knowledge in AI and open-source technology, licensing, and projects 
  • Familiar with cloud security standards and controls and mainstream software development. 
  • Strong communication skills and an excellent team player
