Job Description
We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing Information Technology Services team.
Information Technology Services is dedicated to creating and delivering value to our business by leveraging on IT technologies. The team is responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high-quality IT services internally to enable our business.
The role involves:
- Design, implement, and maintain network and firewall infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, guidelines, and information security protocols regarding network infrastructure. Implement best practices and industry standards.
- Drive diagnosis and resolution of complex network and application connectivity issues. Oversee technical support escalations and assist Tier 2 teams when necessary.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, guiding them in the completion of tasks and helping to develop their problem-solving skills. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Oversee network infrastructure projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and resource optimization. Engage with external vendors for managed services or new project implementation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. Conduct semi-annual reviews of these materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, providing timely updates to senior management and stakeholders. Work closely with the IT leadership to align network strategies with business goals.

The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Security, or Systems Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in cloud environments and network technologies, with 3 years managing projects related to connectivity engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto firewall technologies, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure, services (TCP/IP, Routing, DNS), and cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure).
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders and team members. Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional collaborations.
- Ability to analyse situations rigorously, logically, and systematically.
- Ability to contribute to continuous improvement of processes and services.
- A proven track record ensuring the proper functioning of operational services.
- Understanding of, and practical experience with, ITIL processes is an advantage.
- Ability to multi-task independently, while also working effectively in a team within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical experience with Palo Alto security product such as (Prisma Access and Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall).
- Strong technical experience with Palo Alto security products, such as Prisma Access and Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall. Relevant certifications like Palo Alto Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), and optionally Cisco certifications, are highly desirable.
