Job Description

We are looking for passionate, self-motivated individuals to join our team and support DPP in areas such as:

 

  • Developing, updating and automating intellectual resources such as DPP flashes, templates, technical update slides, reminders, etc on audit and accounting related matters to promote audit consistency and audit quality
  • Contributing to supporting the audit engagement teams in carrying out quality audit by assisting to manage the DPP helpline and reviews processes
  • Evaluating software audit tools and routines developed by DPP for compliance with auditing standards
  • Supporting maintenance of Alex and assist on projects directed towards enhancing search function on Alex and making it user friendly
  • Supporting initiatives to further enhance existing processes by effectively using technology such as:
    • Automation of Weekly Bulletins issued by DPP
    • Announcements to audit function on key accounting and auditing matters using mobile apps
    • Developing macro enabled audit/accounting related templates and checklists as part of Audit Quality Initiative
    • Design of new pages/links on the firm’s intranet to facilitate communication on audit/accounting matters with the audit function

Criteria:

  • Personal effectiveness – Strong organisational skills, ability to successfully manage projects, work effectively within teams and independently and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Technology savvy – Keen to explore available technology to simplify complex matters and introduce efficiency in existing processes
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to explain complex ideas simply, convey key messages convincingly, professional writing, proficiency in MS PowerPoint
  • Proven technical competence – Ability to handle technical audit and accounting matters
  • Diligent in following established processes to ensure compliance with SOQM
