Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Client Support Officer to join our Personal Tax & Global Mobility Services team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our consultants by managing administrative tasks, liaising with clients, and ensuring the smooth flow of information and documentation. This position is vital to optimizing the efficiency of our consulting services.

 

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Client Liaison:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Correspond with globally mobile employees (international assignees, business travelers, etc.) and other stakeholders on their tax matters with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to collect necessary information and documentation.
  • Contact government tax officers and be able to deal with their enquiries in an effective manner.
  • Work with other KPMG offices across the global coordinating international tax support.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage and organize administrative tasks related to client accounts.
  • Prepare and process client paperwork, including engagement letters, contracts, and other relevant documents.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings on behalf of consultants.
  • Prepare reports, analyze data, and track compliance status and other assignment-related projects.
  • Manage caseload with team throughout end to end process in an efficient timely manner within required KPIs.
  • Work closely with consultants to provide necessary support for client engagements.

Information and Document Collection & Record Keeping:

  • Collect, organize, and verify client information and documents necessary for tax consulting services.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of required documents.
  • Assist with collation of information for proposals and draft proposal documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the database.

  • Previous experience in administrative roles or client support is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
