Job Description

We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing ITS Global Team.

ITS Global Information Technology Services Global is one of the four pillars within KPMGs Global Technology Knowledge GTK group. It provides innovative components that KPMGs business functions and member firms use to deliver state of the art client facing solutions. It also provides the information protection and technology infrastructure that secures KPMGs technology environment and connects its network of member firms and it works with the other pillars in the GTK group to provide technology solutions that leverage world leading partnerships and disruptive digital capabilities and that provide access to the firms collective intelligence.

 

The Role Involves:

The Chapter Lead Secure Connectivity must lead and develop a high performing Security Networking Operations team to drive the ITS Global groups agenda and achieve its business objectives. Primarily this role focuses on Palo Alto technologies, KNET WAN, Azure Networking, Azure Firewalls, Squid Proxies, Layer7 and ISAM

This role will provide leadership to ensure effective performance management succession planning and development of the in region team. The team will apply industry best practices and ensure consistency across service providers in their delivery and support of services and applications.

Success in this role will be defined by a solid foundation of support applied consistently throughout the regional organization through collaboration with the delivery group and Squad leader.

Oversee and manage project team and guide the team on full project cycle to support deployment projects

Ability to set clear and simply understandable but ambitious goals that translate the business strategy into action encouraging and motivating the team members to achieve targets

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement putting required measurements and management architectures in place to achieve improvement goals

Manage third parties and resources in a fastmoving environment and on projects with evolving requirements and accelerated timelines

  • The ideal candidate should possess

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Business Management Technology Management Computer Science Information Systems Information Management or related field or acquired academic level by working experience or relevant industry renowned certifications
    • 5 Years of hands on and leadership experience working in a multicultural multivendor environment in a multidiscipline team across countries with sound knowledge in building effective working relationships
    • Infrastructure experience and knowledge including an advanced understanding of Palo Alto Technologies, Azure Networking services as well as strong familiarity with routing switching and bridging in both LAN and WAN environments
    • Infrastructure experience and knowledge including an advanced understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure services and delivery models storage concepts networking basics etc Microsoft Azure certification is a strong plus
    • Understanding of ITIL processes SLAs and KPIs cost of service risk security
    • Excellent communication skills in English verbally and written to all levels of the organization Confidence in dealing with staff managers and partners across the firm
    • Ability to lead discussions in a constructive way with clear goals deliverables documented agreements and follow up actions
    • Experience of implementing using GitOps including CICD Pipelines Git Repositories and scripted automation
    • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering concepts with focus on removing Toil where possible
    • Strong business stakeholder management
    • Experience with ISOIEC 27000 family of standards
    • Additional Management certifications are a plus
    • Preferable Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
    • Agile Scrum certification is a plus
