Job Description

KPMG Tax Services assists organisations with their tax compliance obligations and in enhancing their commercial value through tax planning, and incorporating tax strategies into an overall business strategy. Globalisation of businesses must be managed with international know-how and perspective. Through an in-depth understanding of our multinational clients' businesses and industries, KPMG Tax Services helps our clients identify tax-related challenges and opportunities.

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Tax Consulting Director to join our team. This role is ideal for a tax professional with a strong background in corporate tax consulting, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering innovative tax solutions to clients in various sectors.

 

The successful candidate will be:

  • Provide strategic leadership on complex tax advisory engagements, including M&A, cross‑border transactions, restructurings, IPOs, and tax risk management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders by delivering commercially aligned, forward‑looking tax strategies that support business objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive practice growth through business development, client relationship management, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Lead and develop high‑performing teams while collaborating across Tax, Audit, and Advisory to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging tax developments, including BEPS 2.0, and assess their impact on clients.

 

The ideal candidate should:

  • Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience in local corporate tax and/or international tax advisory, with demonstrated success in leading complex engagements.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with proven commercial acumen and the ability to translate tax considerations into strategic business advice.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law.
  • Possess an accreditation by SIATP will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a strong track record of developing teams, managing senior stakeholders, and influencing outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment.
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and committed to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions to clients across a wide range of industries.
