Job Description

KPMG Tax Services assists organisations with their tax compliance obligations and in enhancing their commercial value through tax planning, and incorporating tax strategies into an overall business strategy. Globalisation of businesses must be managed with international know-how and perspective. Through an in-depth understanding of our multinational clients' businesses and industries, KPMG Tax Services helps our clients identify tax-related challenges and opportunities.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Tax Consulting Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare (IGH) Tax Consulting team. This role is ideal for a tax professional with a strong background in corporate tax consulting, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering innovative tax solutions to clients in the financial services e.g. banking, insurance sectors.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Leading and advising clients on complex tax projects including mergers and acquisitions, cross‑border transactions, corporate restructurings, IPOs, tax due diligence, tax rulings, incentives, and tax risk management, primarily across Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare (IGH), industrial manufacturing, consumer, and retail sectors.
  • Acting as a key client relationship manager, delivering commercially sound, tax‑efficient solutions informed by a deep understanding of clients’ business models, operating environments, and risk profiles.
  • Managing and coordinating regional and/or global tax engagements, working closely with overseas teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery across jurisdictions, particularly within the IGH sector.
  • Leveraging cross‑industry experience to provide strategic tax insights, proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and value‑adding solutions for clients.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, reviewing work output, ensuring technical quality, and supporting team development.
  • Keeping abreast of tax developments, including BEPS 2.0, and guiding clients on implications and implementation considerations.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have 5-8 years of relevant experience in Singapore corporate tax and/or international corporate tax, preferably within a tax consulting or professional services environment, with demonstrated exposure to managing engagements or workstreams.
  • Possess a University degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Law; SIATP accreditation will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrate strong leadership potential, with the ability to supervise, coach, and collaborate effectively within a team‑based environment.
  • Be client‑focused, commercially minded, and articulate, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Be highly motivated and driven, with a commitment to delivering practical, high‑impact tax solutions across a broad range of industries.
