KPMG Cybersecurity professionals assist clients to address their concerns around Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability and Privacy of their technology, business systems, and information assets. Using a holistic view of how Technology and Business integrate, the Cyber team performs technology-risk focused assessments, technology compliance, IT/operational process reviews, and design of information risk & cyber security solutions

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor the performance of systems and networks to ensure availability and performance.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to detect and prevent faults that disrupt user connectivity
  • Conduct periodic system reviews and propose capacity planning as needed
  • Execute the necessary procedures to maintain a secure system environment
  • Prepare and implement policies, procedures, and standards relating to application, system, and infrastructure
  • Administer and maintain IT administrative documentation such as network diagrams, user accounts, system configuration items, and SOP/processes
  • Assist with problem/issue identification and resolution
  • Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure projects in compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
  • Identify and resolve cybersecurity issues, vulnerabilities, and threats
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Evaluate and select appropriate security technologies and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards such as NIST, CIS etc
  • Participate in incident response activities and investigations

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, IT, Networking and/or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4-5-year experience in a similar Cybersecurity and system-related capacity
  • Knowledge in Networking, Microsoft Server Administration, Microsoft IIS
  • Hands on experience in performing OS hardening, OS & software patching
  • Good exposure and knowledge of various cybersecurity products and services such as SIEM, penetration and vulnerability testing tools, Cloud security, API security and secure coding scanners will be an added advantage
  • Good understanding of security issues, diagnostic and fault solving skills
