Job Description
KPMG Deal Advisory is seeking an experienced professional to help develop and grow our Private Credit offering. This role will work closely with our Deal Advisory professionals across Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Turnaround & Restructuring, Valuations, Infrastructure and other service lines to originate opportunities, build client relationships, and grow our private credit offering.
The Role
- Lead business development efforts by originating mandates, cultivating senior relationships with private credit funds, alternative capital providers, banks, law firms, sponsors and corporate borrowers, to drive revenue generation opportunities in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.
- Oversee the preparation of market research, sector analyses, developing investment themes, and bringing actionable financing and investment ideas to private credit funds and/or corporate borrowers.
Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering their professional development. - Support development and execution of go-to-market initiatives by collaborating with the Asia Pacific and global Deal Advisory teams to bring the firm's full suite of capabilities and cross-border insights to the market.
- Support the development of private credit thought leadership, market insights, industry presentations, and client events to enhance the firm's profile in Singapore.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and market forums in the private credit ecosystem.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Bachleor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in private credit, leveraged finance, corporate banking, debt advisory, structured finance, investment banking, private capital, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of private credit markets, debt financing solutions, and capital raising structures.
- Proven track record in business development, and relationship management and execution of transactions.
- Established network within the private credit, alternative lending, or broader private capital ecosystem will be advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify market opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex client engagements.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced professional services environment.
