  • Synergies: Helping clients understanding the potential benefits and costs of a transaction, or critically evaluating synergy cases.
  • Due diligence:  Highlighting key operational risks, opportunities and, if applicable, execution readiness at a target, order to ensure that acquirers are aware of key issues that may impact valuation or smooth and safe delivery of a transaction.
  • Operations and value creation: Using our data and analytics capabilities, as well as subject matter and sector/functional specialists, we help clients reduce costs, release cash and create revenue, both in-deal and post-deal.

  • Confidently providing high quality insight and input to advice given to clients related to deal strategy and execution
  • Application of the KPMG global deal execution methodologies to the practical aspects of business operations and the client’s market sector throughout the engagement process to support sound and practical recommendations to clients
  • Understand and articulate graphically and verbally the sources of value for synergies, and help assess client’s assumptions to support the pre-signing process
  • Understanding, articulating and helping clients mitigate against likely issues that could impact project success
  • Working collaboratively with wider KPMG service lines and geographies to support clients
  • Performance management, coaching, mentoring and supporting our team members to help them reach their full potential
  • Supporting (and, in some case, owning) client pitches, proposals, business development initiatives and internal/external marketing initiatives
  • Ownership and input into practice development activities/initiatives.
  • Ensuring KPMG engagement quality and risk management procedures are consistently applied on each engagement to protect the interests of our clients, as well as KPMG
