Job Description

 

The Finance Department is responsible for the financial aspects of the firm.  It records operating transactions, provides essential financial and accounting information necessary to make various decisions;  and prepares financial statements that inform management and regulators about the firm’s financial results and position.  

 

The Finance team also assists to ensure that transactions recorded comply with the internal controls and policies of the firm.

 

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Executive.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure invoices from suppliers/inter-companies/staff claims are recorded accurately and timely into the financial system
  • Check that invoices/expenses are properly authorised and process payment when due
  • Recognise expenses in a timely, consistent basis in-line with accounting treatment and tax compliance
  • Assist to streamline Accounts Payable processes
  • Assist with all periodical financial closing and audits
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

 

You should possess the following:

  • Diploma/degree holder 
  • 2 - 3 years finance experience, preferably in similar position 
  • Good knowledge and strong analytical skills of numerical data
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and SAP accounting software
  • Proactive team player who is meticulous and self-motivated
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently
  • A keen eye for details & excellent follow ups
