Job Description

We’re looking for an Executive / Senior Executive, Payroll, who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and committed to operational excellence—someone who ensures accurate and timely payroll processing while contributing ideas to improve efficiency and support the team’s ongoing transformation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll promptly and accurately in accordance with company policies and local statutory requirements.
  • Ensure all payroll data feeds and employee transactions are complete, validated, and submitted for timely processing.
  • Administer statutory and tax-related submissions (e.g., IR21, IR8A) and manage billing activities accurately and on schedule.
  • Submit government-related claims such as NS reservist, childcare leave, and maternity leave grants within required timelines.
  • Manage payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll escalations by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Escalate system or interface issues when necessary.
  • Review existing payroll processes to recommend improvements in workflow efficiency, compliance, planning, and data quality.
  • Participate in payroll enhancement and automation initiatives, contributing expertise to project activities as required.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel formulas relevant to payroll, including Macro development.
  • Highly meticulous, process‑oriented, and service‑driven, with a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore employment regulations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Payroll is highly advantageous.
