Job Description

 

As part of the AP team, you play an integral role in the operational support of the finance department. This role presents an exciting opportunity to learn and work with professionals across functions to ensure cost/expenses of the firm is accurately captured and payments made on time. We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our Finance team. 

 

As an intern, you will be supporting the team with various tasks including but not limited to:

  • Ensure invoices from vendors are recorded accurately and timely into the financial system.
  • Check that invoices/expenses are properly approved.
  • Recognize expenses in a timely, consistent basis in-line with accounting treatment
  • Able to apply GST compliance
  • Perform period end closing activities and liaise with other teams as required
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned if necessary

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Meticulous and good team player with a positive mindset
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Have strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
