About Us
 

Our Digital Finance Consulting practice provides a combination of business and technology advice from strategy to execution and helps solve our clients’ most complex business challenges. Our team supports clients in their Finance Transformations to build high performing finance functions to release time and people from transactional work to perform value adding activities whilst maintaining an optimised control environment. Our focus areas are Finance Vision & Performance (e.g. Enterprise Performance Management), Finance Transformation through Cloud ERP and Digital Platforms, and Finance Target Operating Models (including Organisation and Structures).


Your Role and Responsibilities
 

  • Work with client CFOs and senior management in the region - accelerating KPMG Digital Finance consulting practice, having expertise in finance advisory, program and change management
  • Lead and deliver client engagements and collaborate with senior finance executives, their team and our internal cross line of service teams to determine improvements for existing policies, processes, technologies and organization structure
  • Experience developing a vision for the Finance organization and realizing the vision through large scale transformations encompassing finance process redesign, service delivery model development, and technology implementations
  • Experience in key finance transformation initiatives to help clients transform / improve their finance and operational processes in areas such as:
    • Budgeting, Planning, Forecasting

    • Chart of Accounts, Financial Closing and Consolidation

    • Profitability & Cost Management

    • Management Reporting, Business Analytics

    • Finance operational processes such as Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Record to Report

    • Support the implementation of relevant technology platforms in the finance function from a functional standpoint such as SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials, OneStream, Tagetik and Anaplan

    • Have led or played a lead or significant role in conducting shared services feasibility study, design, transition, live implementations of finance & accounting shared services or BPO initiatives

  • Lead/support business development, generation of leads and presentation of proposals for business development activities

  • Develop deep relationships with key senior finance and management executives to bring the range of Finance and other competency offerings to the client

About You
 

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance related discipline from a reputable University, with strong skills and experience in finance and treasury processes

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience including Consulting (Finance) background with demonstrated skills in building pipeline, managing projects and communicating effectively with clients and teams

  • Strong industry experience in Financial Service and insurance sector in the finance function in a business partner role would be preferred

  • Other sector experiences would be considered such as Retail, Shipping, Transportation and Logistics, Government and Public Sector, etc.)

  • Experience with working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management or Treasury platforms / technologies

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of senior executive level engagement

  • Lean / Six-Sigma or equivalent certifications will be advantageous
