Job Description

Our People, Performance and Culture (PPC) team is KPMG drives the organization and workforce performance agenda in the firm. You will be assigned to the HR Information Systems sub-team under HR Service Delivery (HRSD) team, where we manage and optimize HR systems and processes to enhance data accuracy, streamline HR operations, and support strategic decision-making across PPC.

 

We are looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, and passionate about transforming the way HR services are delivered. As an intern, you will support the team in process improvement and digitalization projects across a variety of HR functions including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding and employee services.

 

As an intern, you will be supporting the team with various tasks including but not limited to:

  • Assist in identifying, mapping and analyzing HR processes to uncover gaps, inefficiencies and areas for automation and standardization
  • Support the design and implementation of process improvement initiatives, including solution development, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and change management activities
  • Collaborate with various HR sub-teams within HRSD team and ITS to gather requirements, prepare process documentation and track project milestones
  • Help build, test and deploy digital tools and automation workflows using platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Visual Basic For Applications (VBA) macros and/or Python
  • Conduct research on best practices in HR technology, process optimization, and user experience improvements
  • Perform other duties and tasks assigned on an ad-hoc basis

 

Our ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or other related disciplines
  • Strong interest in HR technology, process design, and continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently when required
  • Comfortable multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following digital tools/platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, Python and/or VBA macros is highly advantageous
