Job Description

Central Services – HR Learning & Development Intern

 

Our People, Performance and Culture (PPC) team in KPMG drives organisation and workforce performance agenda in the firm. We are looking for someone who can drive positive changes and continuous improvement to make KPMG a better place to work at. Along with other leaders and colleagues in KPMG who are passionate about people, performance, and culture, we can work towards building a world class People Experience for everyone. 

 

As an intern, you will be supporting the team with various tasks including:

  • Assist to plan, co-ordinate and manage KBS’ signature learning programmes and initiatives across different modalities i.e., in-person and virtual platform
  • Liaise with various stakeholders (both internal and external) to deliver these programmes and initiatives e.g. vendor and venue sourcing, evaluating/proposals, tracking budget and expenses
  • Use your creativity to ideate, curate, develop, design, refine and launch relevant programme materials including publicity and both digital/physical collateral, including the KBS intranet website
  • Research and propose new, engaging and innovative learning activities, technologies and content to enhance our existing materials
  • Take charge of, and independently manage assigned projects from end-to-end e.g. - review and execute deliverables and monitor project progress and timeline under your accountability
  • Use a data-centric approach to track attendance/participation rate and other key statistics, collate and sense make post-workshop feedback; evaluate the effectiveness of the learning/programmes that we deliver; propose and improvements and follow-ups/actionables based on the feedback received
  • Depending on personal interest and comfort level, to help co-facilitate some of the breakout discussions for our in-person sessions
  • Perform all other duties and tasks assigned on ad-hoc basis  

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen to learn and grow in this area of expertise
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Good administration, co-ordination, and follow-through skills
  • Graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe), website development, social media and video production skills are highly advantageous  
  • Flexible, collaborative, and proactive
