Job Description
KPMG’s Global Health Care and Life Sciences (HCLS) team brings a breadth of experience working with and within the industry and leverages real-world experience to support clients to define, translate and execute on their strategic ambitions. We leverage this global strength, localised to Asia Pacific, to work in partnership with our clients and the healthcare ecosystem to address a range of strategic imperatives; such as digital, data and AI innovation, commercial excellence and go to market, new business and care models, operational excellence, policy shaping and public affairs.
With Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) a strategic priority sector in Asia Pacific, KPMG is looking for business analyst(s) with experience and technical expertise in Healthcare and/or Life Sciences AI and Data Analytics projects to help us drive impact and translate value for our HCLS clients in Digital, Data and AI.
You will begin your journey by:
- Identify and communicate with key stakeholders to gather, review, analyse and document requirements and specifications
- Identify and propose solutions to address requirements
- Co-ordinate and communicate across various stakeholders
- Leverage project management best practices to define project scope, plans and requirements gathering, per project management best practices.
- Define test plans and lead testing efforts
- Train users on developed solutions and develop user manuals
- Create and maintain relevant documentation
- Identify opportunities for improvement or potential solutions to address requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in similar roles (Business Analyst) in AI and Data and Analytics within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector
- Relevant qualifications within the sector and project management (such as PMI-PBA or equivalent qualifications)
- Strong understanding of requirements for AI and Data and Analytics projects in HCLS and how best to gather and communicate these
- Strong documentation skills, particularly in requirements gathering and writing and key project management documents
- Strong understanding of project management best practices, processes and industry standards for delivering AI or Data and Analytics in the HCLS sector
- A learning mindset to develop skills applicable across our health care and life sciences practice
- Possess good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Be proficient in spoken and written English
