Job Description

The Information Technology Services (ITS) team provides essential technology-based services to internal clients. The ITS team work together to address both individual and firm-wide IT needs.

 

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Application Team Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and software development, with a keen interest in developing applications using the Power Apps low-code platform. This internship offers hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure cloud services, and participation in various software development lifecycle activities.

 

As an intern, your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Develop Applications: Use the Power Apps low-code platform or other tools to design, develop, and implement custom applications that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing JIRA and Confluence to manage projects, track progress, and document processes.
  • Azure Cloud Services: Gain exposure to Azure cloud services, assisting in configuration monitoring alerts on the cloud platform.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Provide support in various phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
