Job Description
The Information Technology Services is dedicated to creating and delivering value to our business by leveraging on technology. The team is responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high-quality IT services internally to enable our business.
You will be part of the CTO Office team, a team responsible for IT strategic planning, procurement, financial management and operational governance of ITS department.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our dynamic team. The individual will be involved in a variety of initiatives - process improvement, automation and weaving of AI into daily operations.
As an intern, your duties will include but not limited to:
Process Analysis, Maintenance and Improvement:
- Identify and document manually performed processes including IT Financial reporting and general IT Organization processes.
- Develop visual process flow diagrams to facilitate understanding and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and identify processes suitable for automation to improve efficiency.
Digital Dashboard Development:
- Assist in designing and building dashboards for reporting (e.g., financial and IT-related dashboards).
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, relevant, and aligned with business needs.
- Support the rollout of dashboards and help communicate their value to users to encourage adoption.
AI & Automation:
- Assist in planning, development and implementation of the automation for selected processes using suitable digital tools. Digital tools that may be available include Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot and ServiceNow.
- Where applicable, the usage of AI or AI Agent for the purpose of automation can be and should be explored to enhance the final design. The use of AI must comply with KPMG AI Policy.
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business and Technology (Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics) or other data related fields
- Strong business analysis skills
- General understanding of financial terms, data modelling and IT technical knowledge
- General appreciation of automation benefits and AI trends
