Job Description

The Information Technology Services (ITS) team provides essential technology-based services to internal clients. The ITS team works together to address both individual and firm-wide IT needs.

 

You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team, a strategic department responsible for aligning organisational business goals with technology solutions and initiatives. The EA team plays a pivotal role in defining and implementing architectural governance standards, mapping relationship across business process, data, applications and technology, and defining roadmap for business and technology. 

 

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic EA Intern to join our dynamic team. The intern will experience how different architecture layers are interwoven, designed, governed, and optimised across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to build foundational skills for a future in IT strategic planning, digital transformation, or enterprise consulting.  

 

As an intern, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Business-Technology Mapping
•    Participate in mapping exercises that connect business processes to the applications and technologies that enable them
•    Facilitate maturity assessments and software reviews that form the basis for investment and optimization decisions

 

Data Visualization and Analysis
•    Transform raw data into strategic insights by building dashboards and visual reports that reveal architectural relationships and performance trends
•    Assist in managing and configuring the central EA platform and repositories for key architecture assets

 

Strategic Architecture Support
•    Help to track, organize, and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation that describe solution, technology, and data architecture
•    Ensure consistency, conformance and clarity over key data assets driving strategic decisions


Cross-Team Collaboration
•    Collaborate with IT teams to gather and validate data that feed into enterprise architecture repositories
•    Attend governance and design meetings to observe and understand strategic decision-making processes

 

Gen AI Exploration for EA Platform
•    Test and evaluate Generative AI tools to support the automation of EA tasks such as metadata tagging, architecture analysis and documentation
•    Explore the potential of GenAI to enhance decision-making, boost productivity, and foster innovation within enterprise architecture workflows

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
•    Currently pursuing a degree in Strategic Management, Business Technology Management, or other information technology and business-related fields 
•    Strong interest in technology, systems thinking and strategy 
•    Familiar with Microsoft Visio and SharePoint Online
•    Holistic mindset with a strong attention to detail
•    Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
•    Good verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex concepts in clear business terminology
