Job Description

The Information Technology Services (ITS) team provides essential technology-based services to internal clients. The ITS team work together to address both individual and firm-wide IT needs. We are seeking a highly motivated IT Security Intern to join our team. The intern will be involved in various projects related to automation, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability assessment and reporting, and other BAU security operational activities.

 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation:
    • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline forms and IT security procedures and processes.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • DLP:
    • Support the deployment and management of DLP solutions across the organization.
    • Assist in building identifiers and testing policies for data protection.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Reporting:
    • Prioritise and assess vulnerabilities and work other IT teams to remediate and enhance overall security posture.
    • Generate and analyze reports to understand potential attack vectors.
  • Daily Operations:
    • Participate in daily security operation activities, including investigating and resolving security incidents and addressing queries.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
