Job Description
KPMG Personal Tax & Global Mobility Services team provides an extensive range of services to multinational corporations who employ as well as deploy staff globally. We provide our clients with advice on international and cross-border tax, remuneration reporting, immigration issues that multinational companies face when recruiting and/or employing international assignees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end processing of Singapore immigration applications, including work passes, dependants, permanent residence, and related applications
- Independently manage a portfolio of corporate and individual immigration clients, acting as the primary point of contact for the engagement.
- Advise client on Singapore immigration regulations, policies, process requirements, and expected timelines.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required documentation, provide application updates, and respond to immigration related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare, review and submit immigration applications in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
- Oversee case progression from initiation through to completion, including follow ups with relevant authorities, where necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and tracking systems
- Monitor and stay informed of developments and changes in immigration policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships through consistent service delivery and sound advisory judgement.
- Handle complex, sensitive, or escalated immigration matters, applying practical and risk-aware solutions.
- Provide immigration advice aligned with clients’ business objectives and workforce needs
- Guide and mentor junior team members on case management, technical requirements and best practices
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, service delivery and overall client experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or other relevant fields, with 2–5 years of immigration-related experience
- Detail oriented and analytical, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, committed to delivering exceptional client service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software, with leadership qualities to guide and motivate team members
