Job Description
Keeping abreast with Goods and Services Tax (GST) requirements is a constant challenge for many businesses. KPMG Tax Services assists organisations with their tax compliance obligations and in enhancing their commercial value through tax planning, and incorporating tax strategies into an overall business strategy. KPMG’s services are designed to provide clients with innovative and yet effective approaches to their indirect tax challenges.
Your Role: Making an Impact in GST Advisory
As part of our GST team, you will play a crucial role in guiding businesses through Singapore's dynamic tax landscape. Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert GST advisory – Offer insights on GST treatment for transactions and conduct GST health checks to identify risks and opportunities.
- Enhancing GST compliance – Review and refine GST compliance processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Managing GST returns with precision – Prepare and review GST return worksheets before submission to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
- Driving strategic solutions – Support consultancy projects, assist in GST ruling applications, and help clients navigate regulatory requirements with confidence.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law (post-graduate qualifications are a plus).
- At least 3 years of GST experience in a relevant role.
- SCTP accreditation (preferred but not required).
- Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
- A people-oriented mindset with exceptional communication skills.
- Leadership qualities and a collaborative spirit to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
