Job Description

KPMG's Career Catalyst Programme for Polytechnics (C2P2) is a 12-month apprenticeship programme which allows you to start your career with our Tax practice. You will learn from real-world experts and gain experience needed to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace. You will also have  opportunities to work with clients across different industries. Concurrently, we will receive the relevant trainings from KPMG to elevate your skills and maximise your learnings. To set you up for success, a mentor will be assigned to provide support and guidance in addition to being exposed to regular networking sessions! 

 

After completion of the apprenticeship programme, you may choose to continue your career with KPMG or alternatively, you may choose to graduate from this programme and pursue a degree/your other passions or even try out other functions in KPMG.

Tax Function  

 

The Personal Tax & Global Mobility Services team provides an extensive range of services to multinational corporations who employ as well as deploy staff globally. We provide our clients with advices on international and cross-border tax, remuneration reporting, immigration issues that multinational companies face when recruiting and/or employing international assignees.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing a range of tax compliance services to international assignees
  • Assisting in tax consultancy services provided for international cross boundary tax planning, immigration and compliance
  • Developing and reviewing tax equalisation and international assignment policies

 

Our ideal candidate should possess the following: 

  • Diploma in Accountancy from a local polytechnic 
  • Interest to start a career with a professional services firm 
  • Aspiration to be a tax practitioner 
  • A strong team player with a proven track record of academic and co-curricular achievements
  • Possess the ability to work independently, multitask and perform in a fast paced environment
  • Have an analytical mind and strong research and writing skills
  • Meticulous with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with colleagues from various levels and functions
  • Available to work full-time for 12 months starting from July 2024
