Job Description

 

KPMG Singapore’s Office of General Counsel is looking for an individual to support our legal team. The role may be challenging and fast paced so you will need to be an efficient worker who is organized, meticulous, self-motivated and resourceful. You will also need to be an excellent communicator, a team player and be able to handle highly confidential information appropriately.

 

Our Office of General Counsel disseminates timely and relevant information on developments in legislation and regulations, and executes initiatives to manage our risk in a challenging environment.  


The general scope of work includes:

  • Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to the legal team
  • Prepare and maintain legal documents and templates in the relevant contracts and document management IT tools
  • Support in updating risk templates and guidance documents 
  • Manage deadlines, monitor the progress, and generate status reports of any given project or matters
  • Schedule appointments for meetings and calendaring deadlines
  • Raise invoices to facilitate payment
  • Data entry where required
  • Understand the necessity of KPMG to comply with KPMG Global risk management requirements and administer the processes required to maintain compliance 
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships to promote understanding and compliance with risk management policies and procedures
  • Support enhancement and streamlining of risk procedures and processes through technology and automation

 


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • At least two – three years' experience in an administrative or secretarial role 
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Experience in use of document management tools;
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programmes;
  • A curious and analytical mind, detailed oriented but also with the big picture in mind;
  • The ability to work autonomously on self-motivated projects, but at the same time work in tandem with and add value to a closely-knit team; 
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
