Job Description

 

Join KPMG Singapore’s Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) as an intern and gain valuable exposure to financial reporting, accounting standards, and advisory projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in helping clients solve complex finance and accounting challenges, giving you a glimpse into the world of professional services and technical accounting.

 

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop your technical skills, and gain insight into how businesses optimize their financial reporting and governance frameworks.

 

What will you do as an Accounting Advisory Intern?


•    Assist in research on accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and regulatory updates.
•    Support project teams in preparing reports, client presentations, and financial analysis.
•    Participate in discussions on technical accounting matters and gain exposure to finance transformation projects.
•    Work with teams on data analysis and visualization to support client decision-making.
•    Assist in the implementation of financial reporting systems and governance policies.
•    Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical and professional skills.

What we are looking for:


•    Business & Accountancy students are encouraged to apply but otherwise open to graduating students from any discipline
•    Strong interest in technical accounting, financial reporting, and advisory services.
•    Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
•    Good communication and teamwork skills.
•    Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
•    Relevant Data analytics skills will be advantageous (not a must-have)
