Job Description

KPMG’s Forensic team offers robust, practical advice, helping our clients identify and deal with potential lapses and fraudulent activities through our expertise in forensic services and data analytics. Our group of experienced professionals use accounting, investigation, intelligence, technology, economics and deep industry skills alongside consistent global methodologies to help reduce reputational risk and commercial loss in order to improve the value obtained from existing contracts. 

 

As an intern, you will get the opportunity, but not limited to:

  • Manage and work with large data sets from a wide variety of industries 
  • Gain insights on how Forensic professionals analyse and interpret the data through exploratory data analysis, meaningful statistical models, machine learning etc.
  • Build models that can provide valuable insights from a forensic/fraud angle 
  • Apply your knowledge in both Accounting and Data Analytics on assigned tasks during your stint  

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Accounting and Data Analytics 
  • Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages – SQL, Python, R 
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to also work independently to deliver tasks in a timely manner
