Job Description

KPMG’s Global Mobility Services professionals advise on global mobility concerns, employment tax and remuneration reporting issues that multinational companies face when employing expatriate employees. Our Global Mobility services include providing tax planning advice to high net-worth individuals. KPMG provides comprehensive training to develop our professionals’ career.

 

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

 

Personal Taxes:

  • Providing a range of tax compliance services to international assignees.
  • Assisting in tax consultancy services provided for international cross boundary tax planning, immigration and compliance.
  • Developing and reviewing tax equalisation and international assignment policies.

Mobility Consulting:

  • Provide mobility consulting services to assignees and their families
  • Prepare cost projection, and assignment letters and explain the relocation benefits to assignees
  • Coordinate with relocation vendors on immigration and relocation logistics
  • Act as the main point of contact for the assignees’ move from home to host country
  • Track and monitor the progress of relocation activities
  • Assist with bi-annual reviews of assignment allowances
  • Assist to prepare monthly payroll instructions for assignees

Regional coordination:

  • Coordinate with KPMG offices on assignee tax matters
  • For national insurance /pension funds, work with different KPMG entities to contact with client entities in different location

 

Our ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • At least 3 years related experience with a University degree in any discipline.
  • Knowledge in personal taxes, global mobility, expatriate tax, or expatriate payroll will be an added advantage
  • Possess the ability to work independently, multitask and perform in a fast pace environment.
  • Strong organization skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with colleagues from various levels.
