Job Description

KPMG in Singapore is part of a global network of independent professional services firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services. The Private Enterprise team is KPMG in Singapore's business development unit, selling KPMG’s various lines of service to privately owned companies in Singapore. The team also manages the Enterprise 50 (“E50”) Awards, an annual business award that seeks to recognise the top 50 privately owned companies in Singapore annually. These companies are typically Small-Medium Enterprises (“SMEs”). The E50 Awards are used by the team as a business development tool to create outreach opportunities by connecting with locally owned private enterprises to understand their needs and generate leads for KPMG.

 

In this exciting internship opportunity, we are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our Private Enterprise Team.  As an intern, you will be supporting the team with various tasks such as:

 

Supporting the Private Enterprise team in business development efforts. Key tasks include:
•    Supporting in business development efforts through identification of prospects, initiation of outreach, and research.
•    Accompanying the team for business development meetings and client pitches.
•    Coordinating with internal stakeholders on meeting / activity arrangements. 

 

Supporting in operational tasks for the Enterprise 50 Awards. Key tasks include:
•    Collating and processing submission documents.
•    Scheduling of meetings.
•    Other miscellaneous tasks.

 

Supporting the Private Enterprise team in publicity generating efforts such as:
•    Drafting articles for internal stakeholders.
•    Conducting market research for article topics.
•    Organising knowledge sharing client events.
•    Participating and assisting in team projects and other ad hoc duties assigned.


The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:  
•    Resourceful, well organized, meticulous and good team player with a positive mindset.
•    Self-starter with ability to work independently.
•    Have an interest in understanding the Private Enterprise / SME market landscape.
•    Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Proficient in MS Office Applications.
