Job Description

 

The Enterprise Application & Engineering team within KPMG Information Technology Services is dedicated to creating and delivering value to our business by leveraging on IT technology. The team is responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high quality IT services internally to enable our business.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

Product Strategy

 

  • Drive product development vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Oversee the development progress, platform performance and alignment of the product roadmap with the adopted strategy and vision

 

Business Requirements Alignment

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed product specifications and user stories.
  • Articulate the business value of the product to the product team and stakeholders

 

Product Enhancements

 

  • Drive product enhancements through analysing results of feedback loops
  • Spearhead research and analyses new features and enhancements for the platform
  • To continually innovate new ideas and solutions to promote or enrich user experience and other applications capabilities and explore integration opportunities with other systems
  • Define, prioritize, and manage the development of new features and functionalities

 

Product Optimisation

 

  • Implement tracking and analytics to monitor the performance of the platform.
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimize the system's speed, reliability, and accuracy.


Continuous Learning

 

  • Oversee the development of learning roadmaps for product team
  • Establish performance indicators to benchmark effectiveness of learning and development programmes against best practices
     

 

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as product design and management, project management or software design and development
  • Strong team management experience and ability to lead and influence delivery teams comprising of business analysts, tech leads, and offshore developers.
  • Prior technical experience in cloud or web applications development is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
  • Ability to effectively develop presentations and present ideas and proposals to all levels of management
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills
