We are looking for a Pursuit Lead to work shoulder-to-shoulder with teams across the firm to win new strategic business and retain our existing client relationships. You will need to be a self-starter who can use your experience in similar roles and organisations to adopt and apply a suite of tools and a pursuit methodology to win large, complex deals.

 

As a Proposal Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by leading the pursuit of new business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and executing pursuit strategies, managing the proposal process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling solutions to our clients.

 

Your opportunity

 

As part of this role, you will lead pursuits by:

 

  • Applying the KPMG pursuits methodology to define the pursuit strategy, develop pursuit communication tactics and strategies, generate creative ideas, create the value proposition and develop client collateral
  • Constructively challenging and supporting teams to ensure their messaging, relationships, approach and pricing are competitive and compelling.
  • Writing and editing strategic elements of proposals (e.g. value propositions and executive summaries) to differentiate KPMG from its competitors.
  • Understanding every aspects of the global economy and using it to craft compelling value propositions
  • Knowing, coaching and educating teams on what good looks like – improving their pursuit skills and chances of winning.
  • Provide guidance to teams on content, visual design and delivery of a compelling presentation

Requirement:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a pursuit management or business development role within a professional consulting firm.
  • Strong understanding of consulting services, industry trends, and client needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
