Job Description

 

We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing Information Technology Services team.

 

The Information Technology Services is dedicated to creating and delivering value to our business by leveraging on IT technology. The team is responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high-quality IT services internally to enable our business.

 

You should be passionate about technology and experienced in Cloud Services implementation, migration and operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services in the public cloud such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform, including the development and maintenance of diagrams and documentation for proposed solutions.
  • Automating infrastructure deployment and management using tools like DevOps, power shell, or ARM templates.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.
  • Working closely with managed services partners, application development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security guardrails, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology.
  • Participate in and contribute to the construct of cloud-related policies and procedures.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology/Security, or Systems Engineering
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in a public cloud environment
  • Excellent communications skills, the ability to convey information to stakeholders in a way that is meaningful and that achieves the desired outcome.
  • Ability to analyse situations rigorously, logically, and systematically
  • Experience in service-lifecycle management products and services
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvement of processes and services.
  • A proven track record ensuring the proper functioning of operational services
  • Understanding of, and practical experience with, ITIL processes is an advantage.
  • Able to multi-task independently and yet work as a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong technical experience with Azure cloud technology (Incl Azure DevOps/IaC, Azure SQL managed instance, Azure App Gateway, Azure Data Lake/Factory, Azure Kubernetes) would be advantageous.
