Job Description

The People, Performance & Culture (PPC) team contributes to making KPMG a great place to work by implementing best-practice programmes to attract, recruit, develop, groom and retain the best and brightest talent.

We are currently seeking a talented People Data Reporting / Analytics individual to contribute to our mission of optimising HR processes and decision-making through data-driven insights. This is a pivotal role in enhancing our HR operations and strategic decision-making by providing critical insights through data analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and presenting HR data to support key business initiatives and drive HR efficiency. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR processes.

Job Description

  • Responsible for preparing the monthly HR reports for both internal/ external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements to drive better, fact-based people decisions,
  • Prepare data using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI to prepare, model, visualise & analyse, manage & secure with Power BI
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of accuracy & efficiency in reports and improve data quality by identifying and resolving data discrepancies & errors
  • Create & maintain detailed documentation of report requirements
  • Implement data quality checks and validation mechanisms to identify and resolve data quality issues, along with troubleshooting of existing automations/scripts
  • Learn & understand existing suite of reports, dashboards, scripts, and serve as a capability bridge/mentor to other analysts

 

Requirements

  • University degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
  • Minimally 2 years of experience collecting, processing and analysing large amounts of structured/ unstructured data – such as data wrangling, data cleaning, data visualisation and storytelling techniques, exploratory analysis (EDA), modelling and statistical analysis along with generation of business insights
  • Familiar with HR operations and workflows
  • Proficient in Excel (Pivottables, Macros), Microsoft Power BI services (for dashboard optimisation and alignment), PowerQuery, Data Analysis Expressions, and Python.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, SQL, enterprise data warehouses will be an added advantage
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to clearly articulate data report specifications and requirements with internal stakeholders
  • A passion for reporting and data analysis work, a strong sense of accountability in delivering accurate data work, and meticulous with data checks
