Job Description

As a part of Tax Reimagined, you will be responsible for driving technology-enabled solutions across our tax practice. Working within a team or independently, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing tax technology solutions. Your expertise will be critical in identifying opportunities to optimize tax processes, mitigate risks, and leverage data analytics to deliver insights and value to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing the latest tax technology tools.

 

We are looking for an Experience Associate to Assistant Manager to join our Tax Governance team. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Ability to understand large amounts of theoretical information and practically apply this understanding to processes and solutions.
  2. Ability to draw distinction in seemingly “grey” areas and explain categorisation and treatment of distinct items.
  3. Ability to think critically when assessing a process or solution, identifying areas of risk, inefficiency, impracticality or opportunity.
  4. Ability to look at large structured and unstructured data sets and identify trends or patterns, with a view to identifying the root cause of this trend or pattern.
  5. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and articulately to a varied range of audiences.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax governance, tax technology, tax consulting
  • A strong team player with a proven track record of academic and co-curricular achievements.
  • Progressive forward-thinking mindset, strong analytical and documentation skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Possess the ability to work independently, multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with colleagues from various levels and functions.
