Job Description

Tax governance has come to the fore for many companies, with concerns on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) agenda increasingly taking top priority in recent times. Governments around the world, including Singapore, have been stepping up on corporate governance initiatives in line with global standards. At the same time, a worldwide resource crunch has triggered the need for tax authorities to channel their limited resources towards companies with higher tax risk profiles.

Together with a team of Tax professionals within the firm, you will:

  • Review the clients’ tax compliance processes and propose initiatives to develop and / or improve the tax policy frameworks
  • Understand and identify clients’ processes and requirements in order to drive improvements and efficiencies in tax processes.
  • Manage the process improvement projects and work with clients in implementing tax processes and procedures to mitigate risks.

We are looking for a passionate and purposeful individual(s) who:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Law.
  • Knowledge in local taxation law and / or proficiency in Microsoft Visio or any process mapping applications will be an advantage.
  • A strong team player with a proven track record of academic and co-curricular achievements.
  • Progressive forward-thinking mindset, strong analytical and documentation skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Possess the ability to work independently, multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
