Job Description

We invite highly motivated and dynamic professionals with relevant experience to join our Tax practice. You will be part of the Tax Technology and Transformation team providing a cycle of innovative improvements for clients and other KPMG’s tax services. As part of our team, you will create innovative digital solutions that boost productivity and performance, explore new business opportunities with emerging technologies, and deliver value to our clients. You will use your creativity, skills, and passion to shape the future of tax technology.

 

As a tax technologist, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and design solutions that enhance their tax processes. You will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills to help them navigate the complex and dynamic tax landscape, spearheading digital transformation initiatives while leveraging on AI, empowering you to challenge the status quo and shape the future of tax.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead projects in AI and Data transformation, leveraging over 4-6 years of experience in the AI & Analytics domain.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for various projects, including planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and post-implementation review.
  • Identify and shape new AI opportunities through collaborative ideation with clients and internal teams to develop compelling proposals.
  • Design and facilitate educational workshops focused on AI and Generative AI to inspire innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Assess AI maturity and business needs to recommend suitable frameworks, tools, and platforms.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to validate Gen AI solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in AI and Generative AI, contributing to thought leadership and internal capability development.
  • Work cross-functionally to enhance and package AI offerings for client-facing engagements.
  • Apply deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques.
  • Documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives and formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies as part of business transformation.
  • Support post-implementation activities, including enhancements and change requests.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in digital transformation and project management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders and teams.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel for business presentations and reporting.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and awareness for professional services industry.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a proactive and self-driven approach.
  • Skilled in storytelling and translating technical concepts into business value.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating shifting priorities.
  • Possess the ability to organise, coordinate, and execute on details and instructions
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities, demonstrating enthusiasm, self-motivation, and team spirit.
