Job Description

 

We are seeking a skilled Technology Business Analyst (Tech BA) with expertise in Prompt Engineering to join our Financial Services Advisory team. This role bridges the gap between business needs and advanced AI-driven solutions, enabling financial institutions to leverage cutting-edge technologies for operational efficiency, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, domain knowledge in financial services, and proficiency in designing and optimizing prompts for AI models.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Business Analysis & Advisory
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for technology-driven initiatives in banking, insurance, capital markets, etc.
    • Translate complex financial processes into functional specifications for AI-enabled solutions.
    • Conduct gap analysis between current systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory, compliance or company standards.
    • Support digital transformation projects, including automation, risk management, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Prompt Engineering & AI Integration
    • Design, test, and refine prompts for large language models (LLMs) to ensure accurate, context-aware outputs for financial use cases with our KPMG assets.
    • Develop prompt libraries and templates for recurring advisory scenarios such as financial reporting, data preparation, accounting, etc..
    • Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to fine-tune models and improve performance through prompt optimization.
    • Ensure ethical and compliant AI usage, adhering to industry standards and data privacy regulations.
  • Solution Delivery & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a liaison between business teams, technology teams, and AI specialists, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
    • Prepare business cases, impact assessments, and ROI analyses for AI-driven initiatives.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training on AI-enabled tools and workflows.
    • Support change management and adoption strategies for new technologies within client organizations.


Required Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (CBAP, CFA, or AI/ML certifications) preferred.
  • Experience: 
    • 5+ years as a Business Analyst in financial services (banking, insurance, asset management).
    • Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly LLMs and prompt engineering.
  • Technical Skills: 
    • Proficiency in prompt design and optimization for generative AI models.
    • Familiarity with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
    • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and API integrations.
  • Domain Knowledge: 
    • Strong grasp of financial products, regulatory frameworks, and accounting management principles.
  • Soft Skills: 
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
