At KPMG, the Tech Consulting team plays a crucial role in helping organisations effectively navigate the complexities of change and unlock the full value of transformation, by charting out future-proof technology strategies that align with business goals, delivering cutting-edge solutions embracing emerging technologies, and assisting organisations in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with their technology landscape.

 

In this role, you have the chance to contribute to shaping the AI strategy and transformation journey for our clients, helping them navigate the digital landscape with confidence. You will collaborate with the best in the field experts, lead dynamic teams of consultants and technology professionals, locally and internationally, to address some of the most exciting transformation challenges for industry-leading organisations from diverse sectors. You will also play a crucial role in co-developing KPMG’s data and AI propositions, strengthening our approaches and capabilities to go to market.
 

What you will do: 

  • Engage with C-suite and IT leadership to define AI strategy, business case and operating model, develop governance frameworks to manage risks and controls related to AI.
  • Responsible for current state assessment, requirement definition, solution design, architecture blueprint, technology roadmap, development and deployment of AI Proof of Concept (PoC) and enterprise-grade technology solutions.
  • Evaluate technology risks associated with AI, provide independent risk assessments and quality reviews of solution architectures, technology selection, implementation/migration plans, AI/ML models, etc.
  • Lead business development and presales efforts, including developing technical and consulting proposals, creating presentations and publications, and influencing IT stakeholders' solution decisions or non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with key technology alliances and professional service providers to evaluate and develop technology solutions and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI technologies, market trends, and competitive insights; collaborate and share knowledge with the technical community, specifically in the data and AI space.
     

The ideal candidate should possess: 

  • Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing solution architect or technical management role.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing AI solutions for enterprises beyond the PoC stage, using leading platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google Vertex AI, Google Gemini.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the latest enterprise AI technologies and platforms, common AI use cases and best practices to deliver a secure, trusted AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to data and AI development and deployment.
  • Experience in technology consulting, presales or sales process, with the ability to lead discussions with senior management level.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management abilities coupled with excellent communication, written, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, data governance, data architecture and advanced data analytics will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in project management, change management will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) will be an added advantage.
